UFF Library System
The Fluminense Federal University (UFF) offers a network of 25 academic libraries, as well as two school libraries and two memory libraries, all integrated into a unified Library System. With a single registration, students and faculty can access any library in the system, which features a centralized catalog and standardized services.
Infrastructure and Accessibility
The system operates as a network with physical accessibility in most locations and digital access through the Library Portal and online catalog. Each unit provides individual and group study stations, technological resources, and specialized educational support, including:
- Graduate-level assistance
- In-person and online training
Collections and Catalog
The physical collection is fully digitized via the PERGAMUM system, allowing users to:
- Perform integrated or library-specific searches
- Check, renew, and reserve materials online
- Access e-books, journals, theses, and dissertations
In addition to the physical holdings, the UFF community has access to a wide range of digital resources, including:
- UFF Libraries Online Catalog
- UFF Institutional Repository
- SABER (Electronic Library Access and Virtual Resources Service)
- CAPES Journals Portal
Integration with UFFMobile+
The libraries are also connected to UFFMobile+, an app integrated with the university’s academic system. This enhances security and efficiency, bringing library services directly to users’ mobile devices.
